About Child Dignity International

Child Dignity International is a registered indigenous NGO in Uganda, operating both in the refugee context and development. Our areas of operation encompass all regions in Uganda to support children's rights and welfare.

VISION

Child Dignity International vision looks at upholding the Child’s Dignity through creating a fully developed child.

MISSION

Child Dignity international reaches out to the vulnerable children in the world with the love, passion, and care so as to uphold a sustained life through supporting them physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually.

GOALS

Advocate for children's rights.
Provide education support through sponsorship, family engagement, and infrastructure development.
Support the holistic
well-being of vulnerable children.
Create safe and inclusive environments for vulnerable children, including those with special needs.

TARGET GROUP

For Selection Criteria, in its sponsorship and street children’s work respectively, the interpretation of Child Dignity International uses for a vulnerable child includes:
A child aged 3 to 17 years, and youth upto the age of 35 years who is at risk of dropping out of Early Childhood Education, primary and secondary schools

Livelihood projects are initiatives designed to enhance the economic well-being and resilience of individuals, households, and communities, particularly in areas facing economic challenges, environmental degradation, or other constraints. These projects aim to improve livelihood opportunities, income generation, and overall quality of life.


HEALTH

Health projects encompass a diverse range of initiatives aimed at promoting health, preventing disease, and improving healthcare access and outcomes for individuals and communities. These projects are essential for addressing public health challenges, reducing morbidity and mortality, and advancing overall well-being.


Water And Sanitation(WASH)

WASH projects focus on Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene interventions aimed at improving access to clean water, sanitation facilities, and promoting hygiene practices. These projects are essential for preventing waterborne diseases, reducing mortality rates, and improving overall quality of life, particularly in underserved communities.
